Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has opened up about her dating life, saying her experiences have shaped what she now wants in a partner.
The 33-year-old spoke during an interview with ZeZe Millz, where she said she has been involved with different kinds of men over the years.
Cuppy explained that she has both dated and gone on dates with men from different walks of life, including a model, a footballer and even a bus driver.
She said many of the connections were made through dating apps, noting that she once paid £400, about N725,000, to join one of the platforms.
The DJ added that her priorities have now changed, especially after her younger sister Temi Otedola got married to singer Mr Eazi.
In her words; “I’ve dated all kinds of men, but now all I want is a simple 9–5 man with no social media. I once dated a bus driver I met on a dating app that I paid £400 to join.”
Cuppy’s dating history has often drawn public attention. She was previously engaged to British boxer Ryan Taylor in 2022, but the relationship ended months later. She has also been linked in the past to music executive Asa Asika.
