I miss plaiting your hair, Niniola eulogises dad on 24th death anniversary

Singer and songwriter, Niniola, has made an emotional eulogy to her late father, Simeon Apata, 24 years after his death.

The 32-year-old singer eulogised her father in a lengthy caption accompanied by a picture of him on Instagram on Tuesday.

“Omo ologo didan. OGA!!!! I miss you so much. I miss plaiting your hair. I miss keeping your secrets. I miss your GUN collection. You were my BESTFRIEND. I was your FAVOURITE CHILD. You used to show off your dancing baby “NINIOLA” to your friends.

“You’d even record me on your camcoder. How I wish you were here to see your BABY killing every stage. You made me a QUEEN the moment I was born making me untouchable,” the Afro-house singer, wrote in part.

The University of Lagos graduate rose to fame after finishing third runner-up on the sixth season of Project Fame West Africa in 2013.

Niniola is the older sister of singer Teni da entertainer.
