Actress Michelle Dede has revealed that she never wanted to catch the bouquet at Rita Dominic’s white wedding.
Recall that Rita who got married to Fidelis Anosike in North Yorkshire, England on Saturday, November 26 ditched the conventional method of throwing the bouquet at her bridesmaids as she personally handed her flowers to Michelle who was her maid of honor.
In a video posted on social media, an emotional Michelle could be seen hugging Rita who also got emotional.
However, in a Twitter post on Thursday, Michelle disclosed that she did not want the catch the bouquet but it was handed to her.
In her post, Michelle also revealed she has served as a bridesmaid at seven weddings, chief bridesmaid at four and a bridesmaid and master of ceremony at one wedding.
“I’ve been a bridesmaid at 7 weddings. Chief bridesmaid at 4. Bridesmaid/mc at 1. Caught a bouquet 4 times. Cried at all 7, yet the 1st time I didn’t want to try catch the bouquet, it’s handed to me. God oya o may all the things @ritaUdominic whispered come true,” she wrote.
The wedding ceremony was also attended by Kate Henshaw, Ego Boyo, Toke Makinwa, Chioma Akpotha, Mildred Okwo, Blessing Egbe and Mo Abudu.
