Gospel musician, Sammie Okposo, has revealed that he criticised comedian and singer, Akpororo, for performing shirtless on a church pulpit because of the relationship between them.
The 47-year-old singer revealed this in an interview with punchng.com.
“I really don’t want to go into that any longer. In the kingdom of God, there are certain things you cannot do, notwithstanding the swagger you want to adopt. Have you ever been to a church and the person leading praise and worship or the choir members were dressed inappropriately? I was hard on Akpororo because of the relationship that I share with him,” he said.
He added that Akpororo had since reached out to him and accepted that he had been wrong.
In December 2018, Akpororo went shirtless during a part of his performance at a gospel concert.
His actions sparked a fiery response from Sammie Okposo who criticised him for what he termed a move “totally out of order.”
