How Buhari’s daughter celebrated six months in marriage

Hanan Buhari and husband Mohammed Turad

Hanan Buhari one of the daughters of President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday shared a photo from her wedding to celebrate six months of being married.

The professional photographer wedded Mohammed Turad, a special adviser to the minister of works and housing Babatunde Fashola, on Friday, September 4.

In an Instagram post, Mrs Turad wrote the word ‘Alhamdulilah’ which literally means ‘Praise be to Allah’ sandwiched by two love emojis.

“❤️Alhamdulilah❤️,” she said in her customary style of using few words for social media posts.

The Instagram post was liked by over 6,000 persons including Hanan’s sister Zahra Buhari-Indimi who is married to Ahmed Indimi son of Maiduguri-based industrialist Mohammed Indimi.

Hanan’s mother first lady Aisha Buhari did not put up a special social media post in celebration of her daughter’s six-month wedding anniversary as her whereabouts continue to remain topical.

Hanan, a Ravensbourne University, London first-class degree holder, married her lover inside Aso Villa, the seat of power. The union was dubbed the ‘First Wedding’ being the first of its kind to be held inside the villa.
