Comedian, Helen Paul, has revealed that her Muslim name is Shukurat aka Alhaja Don Jasi.
The 42-year-old made this known on Instagram on Friday in reply to fan who asked for it after she shared a Ramadan message to her followers.
She wrote, “My Muslim name is shukurat aka Alhaja Don Jasi.”
In June 2019, Helen was criticised for wearing a head covering, known as a hijab in a skit.
She defended herself saying that as an actor, she is allowed to use customs to pass her message across.
”I am an actor that uses costumes to depict a character. Hijab is a head covering. Hijab is not a religion. I am not feeling fine o,” she said on Instagram.
