#GreaterLagos2020: Sanwo-Olu, Hamzat dance gbese at concert finale

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and his deputy, Obafemi Hamzat, on Wednesday morning entertained the audience with their ‘gbese’ skills at the 2019 Greater Lagos fiesta finale held at Eko Atlantic City, Victoria Island.

The governor and his deputy were compelled to dance on arrival by Grammy-nominated super star, Burna Boy.

While Mr Sanwo-Olu impressed, Hamzat appeared reluctant to dance. He, however, complied giving the audience something to cheer about.

Naira Marley, Zlatan Ibile, Olamide, Patoranking, Niniola, Seyi Shay, Rema and others thrilled showgoers to electrifying performances.

The show, which held from 25th to 31st of December in five locations simultaneously, climaxed on New Year’s Eve at Eko Atlantic City.

Usually celebrated annually, the event is an entertainment funfair highlighting the state’s rich talents reservoir and promoting the relevance of entertainment and tourism as a major driver of the state’s economy.
