Governor Dickson’s wife gives birth to quadruplets

Bayesla State Governor, Seriake Dickson

Rachael, wife of the Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, has been delivered of a set of quadruplets – a boy and three girls – in the United States of America.

Daniel Iworiso-Markson, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, who broke the news in a statement on Friday, said the mother and the children are doing well.

The news came a day after the Appeal Court upheld Dickson’s election as Bayelsa governor.

Iworiso-Markson said it was a season of celebration for the family.

“This is particularly good news for the family and Bayelsans because this bundle of joy is coming after many years of praying and waiting upon the Lord,” the spokesman said.

Governor Dickson thanked friends, family members and Bayelsans for their prayers and support and enjoins them to continue to pray for the family.
