Gideon Okeke accuses female producer of threatening career

Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke has accused an unnamed female producer of threatening to end his career.

The Tinsel star made the revelation in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

According to him, the incident happened seven years ago at Tinapa Studios in Calabar, Cross River State.

The woman, who industry sources claim is a film and TV mogul, allegedly threatened the actor will not get another job in the industry when Tinsel stops running on DStv.

“If you were in the room that day, and you witnessed that episode, now be the Judge. What did Gideon do to warrant such a steep Sentencing? I was also made to apologize for My Truth being too TRUTHFUL,” he wrote.

“Folks will try to take food out of your mouth…for not playing their kind of Politics.”

Gideon introduced himself to the Nigerian audience in 2006 when he contested on the first edition of Big Brother Nigeria.

He joined the cast of Tinsel in 2008 and has been a regular till date.

Between 2013 when the unidentified woman placed a fatwa on his career and now, the father of one has appeared in A Place in the Stars (2014), When Love Happens (2014), 93 Days (2016) and Gbomo Gbomo Express (2016) among other movies.
