Genevieve Nnaji thanks fans for accepting Lionheart

Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji, has sent a message of thanks to her fans who have accepted her directorial debut ‘Lionheart’.

The 39-year-old movie veteran said this in a post on Instagram on Tuesday.

“Thank you everyone for accepting @lionheartthemovie into your homes and your hearts. Worldwide. ❤️ This is how we change the narrative. Together. Let us continue to bridge the gap,” Genevieve wrote in part.

Genevieve had announced on Friday that her first movie as a director, Lionheart, was now available for streaming on movie-for-rent service provider, Netflix.

Lionheart was the first original content from Nigeria acquired by Netflix 24 hours to its premiere at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival.
