Days after deleting all pictures of her and compulsive lover, Seun Egbegbe, on Instagram, actress, Toyin Aimakhu, on Thursday posted a disclaimer announcing that she has disassociated herself from the movie marketer.
While refusing to go into details of why she went into an affair with Egbegbe shortly after breaking up with her husband, Adeniyi Johnson, the 31-year-old implored everyone to stop connecting her to the Ebony Films boss or whatever he represents.
She also added that she was sorry for all the negativity that emanated from the whole drama.
Toyin, assured that her attention and energy are now focused on re-uniting with her work, friends, families and fans.
The development comes after the movie marketer was recently accused of kidnapping the actress from a movie location.
According to a friend of the Olabisi Onabanjo University graduate, Egbegbe was angry because Toyin posted a video begging another man (comedian, Ereme) not to kill himself.
Another friend added that Toyin was already planning on dumping her lover because of concerns over the type of business he was actually into.
Egbegbe, however, debunked the kidnap tale in a barely readable Instagram post where he wrote that he could not have kidnapped the woman he described as his wife.
He added that those claiming he stole her phone should remember that she was with his Range Rover SUV.
Toyin went into the relationship with Egbegbe weeks after walking out of her marriage.
The split followed Johnson’s confession that he had flirted with another woman.
All entreaties that the actress should forgive her husband fell on deaf ears and she soon made public her affair with Egbegbe whom many suspected was in her life before and while she was with Johnson.
