Singer Wizkid has laughed off his mentor Banky W’s statement about the former not attending his wedding.
In a recent interview with media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Banky W said that he was disappointed at Wizkid for not attending his wedding.
Reacting to the interview on Twitter on Thursday, the ‘Essence’ singer retweeted the post with the caption: “Lol”, which translates ‘laugh out loud.’
Wikzid’s response has sparked reactions on social media, causing fans to wonder what the response meant.
However, the singer in an Instagram post on November 17 said missing Banky W’s wedding will forever make him sad.
He blamed his absence on the non-release of his passport.
Expressing his sadness at missing the event, the three-time father promised “we go rock church wedding” which took place in South Africa.
His absence at the last leg of what was tagged #BAAD2017 did not go unnoticed by fans, some of who brutally attacked him on social media.
“God will bless you with happiness and abundance of Joy as u start your new life together! Missing this day is something that will forever make me sad, But this is not about me, its abt you! Enjoy! Happiness and love forever” he wrote along with a picture of the couple.
