PART 1 Dear Distinguished Fans,Colleagues, friends I write this statement today with profound humility and gratefulness to Almighty God in appreciation of the fact that no matter how long and fast a lie travels, truth must surely catch up with it. Some weeks ago some of my colleagues social media handles an audio massage of a nameless and faceless girl accusing me of molesting her. When I listened to the audio, it occured to me that some mischief makers are on the prowl and out to tarnish my hard earned image. On consulting my lawyer, she advised that I make no statement as regards that, either to defend myself or otherwise to enable her chambers gather as much facts as possible on the matter without distraction. Unfortunately, some people used the opportunity to castigate my name . It was more worrisome as many of those spreading this false accusations have worked with me personally and if what was alleged of me were facts, would have been in a better position to relate direct experiences or stories they heard about me, while on one location or the other with me. The fact that the only information available to them were hearsay evidence should have tampered their zeal to destroy my reputation. Moreover they never reached out to hear my own side. These emergency 'activists went on to say that my time is up and co-opted their colleagues to echo same, none of them reached out to me In the spirit of equity and fair hearing. When I discovered that my name is at stake I did the only logical thing which is to petition the police and issued a retraction notice to their ring leader. Offcourse immediately that went out calls began to fly up and down asking me to soft pedal,my lawyer was also contacted to calm down but Offcourse we insisted on seeing it to the end until the nameless criminal is produced to substantiate her claim. For the records let me state here that I VICTOR NCHEKWUBECHUKWU OKPALA HAVE NEVER MOLESTED ANY GIRL AND WILL NEVER DO SO! @instablog9ja @tundeednut @punchnewspapers @saharareporters @lindaikejiblogofficial
