Funke Kuti, ex-wife of singer Femi Kuti, has reacted to a video of an Instagram influencer named Micheal Sonariwo who said she is the kind of sugar mummy he is looking for.
Micheal had shared a video of Funke, Kate Henshaw and Shaffy Bello dancing together at Funke’s son Made Kuti’s wedding. He hailed the women for their energy and dancing prowess.
“You see I’ve joked many times about this sugar mummy thing, but you see that there, that is my standard of sugar mummy I am looking for. You see the elegance in that woman and all her friends around her, you can smell m, the dollars, you can smell the euros you can smell the pounds. That is why they are dancing so carefree and they still look like young women oo! And they even have the energy for young men like us,” Micheal said in the video.
Reacting to the statement on Friday Funke Kuti shared the video on her Instagram and called the attention of Kate and Shaffy to the video.
She wrote: “Throwback to #NedoMade2023❤️Ladies come and see o!! He said they can smell the đź’µ pounds and euros đź’¶!!!
