Music fans in Nigeria have attacked Afro-pop singer, Davido, for liking mocking comments aimed at Wizkid’s third babymama, Jada Pollock.
Ms Pollock, mother of Wizkid’s third child, had called out the 29-year-old singer on Wednesday, accusing him of domestic violence.
She also announced their split in the message on social media which has now been deleted.
“From today, Ayo and I will no longer work together. I have been in an abusive relationship with him for years. Covering up for him time and time again and I am tired.
“Wiz continuously puts his hands on me, leaves me with bruises that I cover up from the world, including my friends and family,” Pollock said.
Davido, 26, liked several comments which mocked Pollock who had in May 2018 praised Wizkid for his commitment to their son, Zion, describing Wizkid as an incredible dad.
Pollock’s praises on the singer came at the time Wizkid’s second babymama, Binta Diamond, accused the singer of treating her own child like crap.
One of the comments Davido liked read: “…but you were siding with him to be the favorite baby mama. Women should learn how to support one another.”
Fans have reacted with disgust at Davido, saying he acted childishly.
