Fani-Kayode knocks US, France, others evacuating citizens from Nigeria

Femi Fani-Kayode

Former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, says Nigeria can get through the coronavirus pandemic despite the countries evacuating their citizens.

The United States, France and Germany are some of the countries moving their citizens out of the country.

There are currently 135 cases of the coronavirus in Nigeria.

In a tweet on Tuesday, Mr Fani-Kayode said God would help Nigeria get through the times.

“U.S., France, Germany & Israel evacuate citizens from Nigeria? Let them go! We shall get through this without them. We may not have their resources but we have God. He will never leave us or forsake us. We shall get through this and the name of the Lord shall be glorified,” he said.

He explained further in another tweet the reasons he believes Western countries were evacuating their citizens from Nigeria.

He said: “Western countries are evacuating their nationals from Nigeria because: 1. No trust in Nig. health system. 2. Nig. Govt. can’t fund a real lockdown. 3. Hunger riots, social upheavals of unimaginable consequences predicted by their intelligence agencies.”
