Family announces burial plans for Osinbajo’s shoe designer OJ Best

The family of shoe designer Omale Ojima-Ojo aka OJ Best has announced he will be buried on March 3.

OJ Best made news in 2020 when he made footwear for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo. He also made footwear for other high profile persons such as actress Kate Henshaw, lawyer Joe Abah and Senator Dino Melaye.

According to the burial plans released via his Twitter page on Monday where his death was announced, a wake will be held on March 2 in his residence at Efab Mini Estate, Kubwa, Abuja.

His body will be conveyed from the Federal Medical Centre, Gwagwalada to his hometown in Ijessi-Igo, Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State.

The remains of OJ Best will be buried in his father’s compound.

Osinbajo had earlier expressed sadness over the death of OJ Best. The Vice President described him in a statement on Monday as one who was talented, creative and dedicated to his craft.

Osinbajo added that he never ceased to be impressed by OJ Best’s “exertions for perfection in his products.”
