Emir of Daura in Katsina State Faruk Umar Faruk has taken a new wife A’isha Gona.
The low-key wedding took place recently in Safana town of Katsina State, sources told Daily Trust.
The bride, who is 22 years old, is a daughter of former local government chairman of Safana, Yahuza Gona.
The Emir married a 20-year-old lady Aisha Maikano last December.
Emir Faruk already has many wives and children as the custom of the land and Islam allow a man to take as many wives as he can cater for.
President Muhammadu Buhari is a native of Daura.
