Hadiza El-Rufai, wife of the former governor of Kaduna State Nasir El-Rufai, on Thursday published on Instagram a letter of her son Mohammed Bello El-Rufai’s appointment as office assistant in 2008.

The letter dated July 10, 2008 contained Bello’s appointment as office assistant to the Chief Whip of the House of Representatives at the time, Emeka Ihedioha.

It reads, “I am pleased to convey to you, your consideration and appointment as my office assistant with effect from the date of your acceptance of the offer. You are to report to my special assistant to assign you duties. Accept my congratulations and best wishes in the discharge of your duties.”

Ihedioha later became deputy speaker of the House of Representatives and governor of Imo State.

Bello, on the other hand, currently represents Kaduna North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

Mrs El-Rufai put up an inspiring caption to accompany the letter.

“Choose your path and stay focused. Petit à petit l’oiseau fait son nid (Little by little the bird makes its nest),” she wrote.
