Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, says he has not been cleared of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The governor chaired a virtual meeting of the State Executive Council on Wednesday.
He tweeted afterwards saying he had not been cleared of the disease contrary to rumours.
“Earlier Wednesday 10am-2pm, I took few hours during isolation to chair a virtual meeting of the State Executive Council,” he wrote.
“I haven’t been cleared of Covid-19 yet & will personally announce when confirmed negative. Ignore all fake news even if you like it.”
El-Rufai announced he tested positive for COVID-19 on March 28.
He has been in self-isolation since that time.
