Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has denied being admitted to the intensive care unit of a Lagos hospital.
The governor, who is receiving treatment for coronavirus (COVID-19), shared pictures on Twitter on Monday of his attendance at a state meeting to support his stance.
He wrote: “Earlier today, I took 2 hours out of isolation to attend the daily virtual meeting of State Standing Committee on Covid-19, chaired by Deputy Governor @DrHadizaBalarabe. Since there is fake news circulating that I am in ICU in Lagos, an ICU picture will help! NAE.”
El-Rufai had last week debunked rumours that he had tested negative for COVID-19.
The governor, however, assured he was getting adequate care.
