The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested the Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo, at Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.
Oluomo was apprehended around 9 am on Thursday over allegations of money laundering.
The Speaker allegedly failed to honour the invitations of the EFCC for questioning, a source within the anti-graft agency told Channels TV.
Oluomo has been taken to the commission’s Lagos office for questioning.
