Rapper Eedris Abdulkareem has lamented the death of Tordue Salem whose body was found after he was reported missing about a month ago.

Reacting to the sad incident on Instagram on Friday, the rapper questioned the cause of his death and lamented the state of insecurity in Nigeria.

“The Vanguard journalist he was declared missing in Abuja he was now found but found dead. what killed him or who killed him?

“What is his offence? He was proudly Nigerian @61, I’m not. He was a husband his wife would see him no more and as a father his daughter will see him no more. What kind of country is this?” he wrote.

Mr Salem was responsible for reporting the affairs of the House of Representatives. He was last seen on October 13, 2021.

At the close of work that day, he reportedly alighted from a cab at Total filling station, close to the Force headquarters, and headed for BJ’s Garden in the company of a female relative.

Afterwards, he reportedly flagged a cab for the woman and told her that he was going to Area 8, Garki. But he never returned

Since he went missing, many have shown concern in finding Salem including the Speaker of the House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiamila.

Some arrests have been made over the incident. The police apprehended a man Prince Enyenihi for attempting to extort Salem’s family.
