DSS gave Sunday Igboho’s arrested aides new names — Lawyer

DSS

Counsel for the arrested aides of Yoruba Nation agitator Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho on Thursday told the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja that the Department of State Services had given the arrested aides new names.

The lawyer Pelumi Olajengbesi made the remark after the DSS counsel I. Awo told the court that some of the names on the court order were different from the names of the persons the DSS had arrested on July 1 at Sunday Igboho’s house.

Meanwhile, the DSS failed to bring the detained aides as earlier ordered by the court.

Justice Obiora Egwuatu, however, gave a fresh order that the DSS should allow the lawyer to the detained aides to see his clients.

The detained aides instituted the suit against the DSS and its director-general, Yusuf Bichi, following their arrest and detention.
