I don’t feel threatened by Olajumoke’s sudden fame –husband

Sunday Orisaguna, husband of Olajumoke the model, has told Encomium magazine that he does not feel threatened by his wife’s sudden rise to fame.

There have been suggestions that the man may feel emasculated seeing his wife trade hawking on the walking to cat walking on the runway.

He dismissed such notions, saying “I am not afraid because when we had nothing, she was always there. If I said I needed this, she would give me. I am not afraid. If she is rich today, we both own it. I trust her for that. She has been a very good wife. I believe she will continue to be good.”

The door repairer also expressed that he is very happy at the success of Olajumoke while adding that he never expected such would ever happen to him or his family.

“I am very happy. I never expected it. I didn’t know things will turn around for us this soon. I wasn’t expecting it. I cannot express how I feel today. I didn’t know we can get to where we are today. From the time I was born till now. It is overwhelming. I didn’t ever envisage such a great thing. I didn’t know we can ever get here,” he said.

Sunday also spoke to the magazine about his first encounter with Olajumoke when she was an apprentice hairdresser at a salon in Ire, Osun State as well as his plans to move to Lagos.

The bread seller turned model has been with Sunday for about six years. They have two children – Grace, five years and Precious, 16 months – together.
