Dolapo Osinbajo, wife of the former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, has met five Nigerian poets who contributed to the new poetry book Things Fall Apart: The Centre Cannot Hold.
The book is a collection of Irish and Nigerian poetry inspired by the legacy of William Yeats.
Mrs Osinbajo met the Nigerian poets – Chidibere Sullivan, Saheed Sunday, Adenoma Jerry-Adesowo, Lenient Amidu and Seyi Ojenike – at the book presentation hosted by the Ambassador of Ireland to Nigeria Peter Ryan.
“A lovely evening of poetry and history at the Irish embassy hosted by Mr Peter Ryan, the Ambassador of Ireland to Nigeria and Mrs Teresa Ryan,” Mrs Osinbajo captioned her Instagram post on Tuesday.

The late acclaimed writer Chinua Achebe’s debut novel first published in 1958 was titled Things Fall Apart.
