Wife of the Vice President, Dolapo Osinbajo, has joined her husband, Yemi Osinbajo, in thanking God for his survival in a helicopter crash last year.

The Vice President and 11 others escaped unhurt from the crash in Kabba, Kogi State on February 2, 2019.

In a post on Instagram on Sunday, Dolapo is seen in pictures bowing at the altar in appreciation to God.

“Mo fi ori bale fun Oluwa, Oba awon oba,” she wrote in Yoruba which means “I bow before God, the king of kings.”

Prof Osinbajo marked the occasion with a thanksgiving service on Sunday at Aso Villa Chapel, Abuja.

He was joined at the service by his wife, family members and aides including some of those who were with him when the incident occurred.

“Can you imagine a situation where you survived a helicopter crash?  I think it demonstrates that God is merciful; God is awesome; he is able to do all things,” he said.
