Disc jockey Florence Otedola aka DJ Cuppy says she is taking a break from her music career to enable her to focus on her studies.

The 29-year-old made the announcement on Instagram on Wednesday.

According to her, there will be no bookings or DJ gigs until march as her main focus is on her studies.

“I am not taking any bookings or DJ gigs until march in order to focus on Oxford University and make sure that my thesis gets the priority it needs. Love,” she wrote.

Cuppy first announce her admission into Oxford in an Instagram post on October 1st, saying that she is super excited to start her third degree and a new adventure. She has since then continued to share photos at the school premises.

She yet again revealed her admission status on social media plus her new music project. Cuppy also added that she has stopped drinking.

“If I don’t get back to you until 2022, it’s because I’m a full-time student at Oxford University, I’m djing around the world country, I’m launching my jewelry brand and I’m working on new music. Also, quit drinking, I’m starting a venture capital+ all other stuff,” she wrote.
