Mavin Records singer, Di’Ja, has announced that her debut extended play (EP) titled Aphrodija is set for release soon.
It is her first album project since she joined Mavin on February 14, 2014.
The Kaduna-born entertainer made the announcement in a series of Instagram post on Monday.
She, however, held back from disclosing the release date.
The seven-track EP features label mates, Reekado Banks and Tiwa Savage while production credits go to Baby Fresh, Altims, Egar Boi and Don Jazzy.
“I can’t stop thanking everyone that has been patient with me, given me moral support during this time, helped me get through and making sure my head is on straight while magic was being created all the way to creating a cover art inclusive of my drawings. We all go through many creative processes and I thank my Mavin family, my manager for allowing me to be myself!! Quirky, emotional, weird and most of all creative regardless of what is out there,” she wrote.
Apart from featuring in Mavin’s collaborative hits, ‘Dorobucci’ and ‘Adaobi’, Di’Ja has previously released solo singles like ‘Yaro’, ‘Awww’, ‘Take Kiss’ and ‘Looku Looku’
Born to a Nigerian mother and Sierra Leonean father, Di’Ja got married secretly in 2015 and became a mother in 2016.
