Digital media practitioners body knocks Peruzzi over alleged assault on member

Digital Media Practitioners of Nigeria (DMPN), the regulatory body of digital marketing in Nigeria, has knocked pop musician, Peruzzi, over an alleged assault on one of their members.

Pamilerin Adegoke, a social media influencer, had alleged that he was physically assaulted by the DMW act in a series of since-deleted tweets on Sunday night.

DMPN put out a public statement criticising the singer via Twitter on Monday.

Pamilerin alleged that the attack by Peruzzi and his bouncers was caused by comments made in January about the DMW act.

After colleague, Teni, won the Best New Artiste at the 2018 Soundcity MVP Awards Festival held in January, Peruzzi had complained about the choice, claiming he deserved to have won it.

Pamilerin had criticised the singer for complaining about the snub.
