Emir Muhammadu Sanusi Lamido Sanusi

The dethroned Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, has left Loko, a town in Nasarawa State, for Awe, another town in the state.

Sanusi was sent on exile to Nasarawa by Kano State Government on Monday following his dethronement.

The deposed monarch, who arrived Nasarawa early Tuesday, was moved by helicopter to the new location by Nasarawa State Government.

Traditional ruler of Loko, Abubakar Sabo, said the move became necessary because Loko lacks good road, potable water, electricity among others.
