Denrele Edun visits Goldie’s grave three years after death

Media personality, Denrele Edun, on Monday shared a picture of himself at the Ikoyi Cemetery in Lagos visiting the graveyard of late singer, Goldie.

The eccentric presenter who was close friends with the deceased also penned a touching tribute to Goldie where he reminisced on their dreams and hopes together while promising to uphold every one of them.

As expected, Denrele was dressed in his wacky attires of platform boots, skin tight jeans, fringe top and female afro hairstyle.

Celebrities like Weird MC and Toolz also paid tribute to Goldie on Sunday via their various social media pages.

Goldie died of complication from deep vein thrombosis (DVT) at age 29 on February 14 shortly after returning from the 2013 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, California, United States.

I promise to never give up on others but when I get to breaking point, Kick their asses to d kerb as u always told me to! I promise to be a friend and a confidante as you were. To be a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on or a set of ears to simply listen… And I can promise you this… I have always promised to open my heart to you when I fall in love and when I fall apart. When I eventually get married and become a father (U always said I was excellent with Kids and I would spoil mine rotten). I promise to let you hear every giggle and feel every hug.
