Chioma Akpotha, Omoni Oboli, others quash beef

After throwing the media into frenzy in January following a simulated social media war, Nollywood actresses, Chioma Akpotha, Omoni Oboli, Uche Jombo and Ufuoma McDermott, have finally settled all grievances.

The group had a lunch date on Monday, and Chioma shared a picture from the rendezvous on social media with the caption “#LoveOverLoad” along with a heart emoji.

She also posted a short video from the girls’ day out.

Chioma initiated a supposed dispute with colleagues Omoni Oboli, Uche Jombo, Blessing Egbe, Emem Isong and Ufuoma McDermott when she posted a picture of the five along with the caption “Sometimes…sisters aren’t REALLY sisters! #2016MindingMyOwnBusiness  #StayingOnMyLane #MovingOn” on Twitter.

The women in the picture responded by firing different shots at her on Twitter.

It was however, later reported that the group had staged the fight as a publicity stunt to promote the new film Wives On Strike in which they all starred.
