Deji Adeyanju travels to Dubai after attack at pro-Sowore rally

Activist Deji Adeyanju has travelled to Dubai, UAE for treatment following an attack on him during a protest on Monday in Abuja for the freedom of convener of RevolutionNow protests, Omoyele Sowore.

Mr Sowore was later released on Christmas Eve alongside a former national security adviser, Sambo Dasuki.

Former presidential spokesman, Reno Omokri, on Thursday on Twitter shared photos of a former spokesman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Timi Frank, visiting Mr Adeyanju at the hospital.

Adeyanju and some members of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) were protesting peacefully at the headquarters of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) when they were attacked by suspected thugs.

The severity of the attack on Adeyanju is not publicly known.
