The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that the autopsy conducted on the corpse of Ifeanyi Adeleke son of pop star Davido revealed that he died as a result of drowning.
Police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the development in a chat with Punch on Saturday.
He said: “Autopsy has been concluded. It confirms the boy drowned.”
Ifeanyi died in Monday October 31, eleven days after celebrating his third birthday.
Davido and his fiancée Chioma, a popular chef and influencer, have not yet commented on their son’s death.
During a trip to London last month, the duo announced they would be getting married next year.
