Davido: Sophia Momodu comforts baby daddy

Davido’s baby mama, Sophia Momodu, has put her disagreement with the singer aside to comfort him on the controversy surrounding the death of three of his friends.

The 24-year-old lost three friends – Tagbo Umeike, DJ Olu and Chime Amaechina – in four days last week and all eyes have been on him over his link with the deceased.

Questions have been asked particularly over the death of Tagbo, which occurred shortly the deceased took up a bet to drink an excessive amount of alcohol.

Nollywood actress, Caroline Danjuma, and the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal, both said Davido’s men took Tagbo’s corpse to the hospital and ran away.

In the midst of that, Sophia, the mother of Davido’s daughter, Imade, sent a message of support on Snapchat on Thursday.

“Baba Imade! God’s got you! Smile my G!” she also added a bible verse which states that “A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you,” she wrote.

Sophia and Davido have had a bitter disagreement over the care of their baby, with her accusing him of child abduction after he attempted to travel to Dubai in 2015.

Sophia, a niece of Ovation publisher, Momodu, later petitioned the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), accusing Davido of child trafficking.

Bob Dee, who spoke in favour of his niece, was serially abused by the much younger Davido, prompting many to wonder at the kind of training the artiste got from his parents.
