Despite not being physically present, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) supporter monitored the election process on social media.

An unsparing critic of President Muhammadu Buhari, the outspoken young man posted several messages on Twitter alleging that there were plots by the Federal Government to rig the election.

From his obviously peaceful location in South Africa, Davido called on Nigerians to protect their votes and resist any attempt by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to manipulate the results.
