Singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has expressed his appreciation the CNN after the station featured his single ‘D&G’, which is dedicated to coronavirus research.
The 27-year-old shared a clip from the feature on Instagram on Saturday.
”Thank you @cnn @chloemelas,” he captioned the clip.
Davido released the song, which also features American singer, Summer Walker, on Friday and announced that all proceeds from the video will be donated to the Dolce & Gabbana and Humanitas Together for Coronavirus Research Fund.
He spoke to the CNN about his motivation for doing so.
”People are really going through a hard time,” he continued. “This is the first time something like this has paused the whole world. A lot of people out here make money from day to day, like, surviving day to day pay. That’s not possible because we all have to stay inside,” he said.
