Davido accuses cousin Dele Adeleke of dragging late mum into fight

Pop star Davido has accused his cousin Dele Adeleke of writing about the death of his mother in an article relating to his political ambition.

The 29-year-old made the allegation in a series of Twitter posts on Wednesday.

“Because of your ambition you have your people write about me (which I don’t care ) but to include the death of my mother in an article … same woman that raised you … @deleadeleke001 ok na. Dele God will reward you,” he wrote in one post.

In another post, the BET winner alleged his cousin mentioned the name of another family member, whom he called ‘Aunty Vero’. On an unrelated matter, He added that his new song drops tomorrow asking fans to stay tuned.

Not satisfied with his rants, The ‘Aye’ star added: “The truth hurt you that much you had to go that low to mention YOUR AUNTY VERO that cared for you .. well… I don open my crase for the year @deleadeleke001 stay tuned NEW MUSIC 2MORO!”

“Worst of all this Nigga really doing all this from the house my father gave you! Audacity! Disrespect me! (I don’t care) But my FATHER my MOTHER Never! DELE I WILL STRESS YOU! We go meet for field.”

This came after the singer dragged his cousin the previous day for declaring interest in running against their uncle Ademola Adeleke in the Osun State Gubernatorial election.

Meanwhile, the Osun governorship election will take place on July 16, 2022.
