Lovina, wife of the late Nigeria-based American radio personality, Dan Foster, has confirmed that her husband died of coronavirus (COVID-19).

Lovina told Channels Television that he had run some tests for COVID-19 and the results came back positive on Tuesday.

The radio host also known as The Big Dawg died on Wednesday at a medical facility in Lagos, where he was receiving treatment for COVID-19.

Foster moved to Nigeria in 2000 where he joined Cool FM and had stints with Inspiration FM, City FM and Classic FM.

He was also on TV and worked as a judge on the Idols West Africa and Nigeria Got Talent.

Foster and Lovina had two children – a boy and a girl – together.

He also had another son from a previous marriage.
