Movie and music producer, Mike Nliam, has confirmed that Nollywood actor, Chiwetalu Agu, is alive.
He made this known in a Facebook post on Sunday, asking fans to disregard rumours about the actor’s death.
Nliam described the 63-year-old as a “gifted legendary who probably holds the world record in awards, honours and recognition.”
“My good friend and big brother Chiwetalu Agu said I should tell you to disregard the wicked rumour that has gone viral about his demise…,” he wrote.
Chiwetalu debunked the rumours himself in a post on Instagram on Saturday, telling fans to disregard social media posts requesting money on his behalf.
