Renowned novelist Chimamanda Adichie has made the cover for the November edition of Marie Claire Brazil.

The 45-year-old posted a photo of the cover on Instagram on Monday.

Marie Claire is a French international monthly magazine first published in France in 1937, followed by the United Kingdom in 1941. Since then various editions are published in many countries and languages. The feature editions focus on women around the world and global issues.

In 2019, Chimamanda made the cover of the same magazine.

The award-winning author disclosed on Saturday that her children’s book is in the works and would be published in 2024.

She made this known at the 2022 edition Creative Africa Nexus Weekend (CANEX WKND) in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, during a fireside chat with Eghosa Imasuen of Narrative Landscape Press.

“It’s a picture book based on my daughter’s life. It’s about my daughter and I want her to see herself in the book,” she said.
