On the day qed.ng reported that General Muhammadu Buhari had overtaken President Goodluck Jonathan on Twitter little did we know that another member of the Buhari family would throw the Nigeria social media space into frenzy.
Her name is Zahra Buhari. Precious little is known about her personal life but she was the number one trending topic on Twitter on Tuesday.
And we must not forget to add that her @Zahra3_ handle got more than 4,000 new followers in less than two hours.
That’s a record that many will give their arm and leg to break.
The principal attraction to her is beauty and the different image she creates of the Buhari family.
Overwhelmed by all the attention, the young woman later wrote “Hi everyone, I have to say I didn’t expect this. I am flattered. Thank you, I do apologise that I can’t reply every single person.”
