Hanan Buhari, daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday bagged a master’s degree in Fine Art Photography from the Royal College of Art, London, United Kingdom.

Her husband Muhammad Sha’aban and relatives were present to celebrate with her.

About 1,200 graduands from the class of 2021 were conferred various degrees at Royal Albert Hall, South Kensington.

Alongside graduate diploma, MA, MRes, MPhil and PhD graduands, honorary degrees were awarded to individuals in recognition of their significant contribution to arts, culture and industry, both internationally and in the UK.

The event was live-streamed for those who could not attend the ceremony.

Hanan shared pictures and videos from the ceremony on Instastories.

The president’s daughter graduated with first class honours in photography from a UK university in 2019. Like her siblings, Hanan attended Kaduna International School before proceeding to the UK for further studies.

She got married to Sha’aban, an aide of the minister of works and housing Babatunde Fashola, last year.
