It had been suggested that one of the first things General Muhammadu Buhari should do if he becomes Nigeria’s next President is apologise for mistakes made during his time as military ruler in the 80s.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in Saturday’s presidential candidate did not have to wait that long.
His apology came in the form of a video message uploaded on YouTube on Thursday.
Titled Muhammadu Buhari’s final mission statement, the video highlighted some of the things that have wrong with Nigeria and what an APC government at the centre would do to solve them.
