BREAKING: Kidnapped students, staff of Nigeria-Turkish International School freed

After 11 days in kidnappers’ den, three students and five staff of the Nigerian-Turkish International School, Isheri Ogun State have been rescued, the police said Tuesday.

The victims were abducted from the school on January 13.

Announcing the release, Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, declared “The pupils and staffs of Nigeria Turkish international school kidnapped on Friday 13th January have all been rescued unhurt this evening. Details later.”

While some reports claim families of the students paid a ransom of N10million to secure their freedom the police insist no money was paid.
