The Kano State High Court has granted bail to activist, Deji Adeyanju, after 67 days in detention.
Mr Adeyanju was granted bail on Monday.
His lawyers said that he was freed on conditions that he must provide sureties and N500,000.
Adeyanju was arrested on December 13 over allegations he was involved in a murder in Kano in 2005 of which his lawyers said he was acquitted of in 2009.
