Nigerian music superstars, Davido and Tiwa Savage, have been nominated in the BET Awards 2018 International Act category according to the nominees’ list made public on Tuesday.

Davido’s glorious run continues as he was recently crowned artiste of the year at The Headies 2018.

He beat Tiwa Savage and others to the BET Best International Act in 2014.

The 25-year-old was also nominated in the same category last year but lost out to fellow countryman, Wizkid.

Davido is widely tipped to emerge the winner at this year’s event, but he also faces competition from rappers, Cassper Nyovest from South Africa, Stormzy and J Hus from the UK among others.

The 2018 BET Awards is scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 25 at the Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, California, United States.
