Big Brother Naija “All Stars” winner Ilebaye Odiniya is reportedly in safe hands following a harrowing early-morning incident that left fans and colleagues in a state of panic.
The reality star, popularly known as the “Gen-Z Baddie,” sent shockwaves through social media on Saturday morning after a brief but terrifying Instagram Live session.
In the video, a visibly battered Ilebaye, sporting facial injuries and swelling, was heard screaming for help and pleading to be let out of a locked room.
The distress call triggered an immediate “all-hands-on-deck” response from the BBNaija alumni community.
Hours after the footage went viral, fellow housemate Beauty Tukura provided a much-needed sigh of relief for the “Baye Tribe.”
Taking to her social media, Beauty confirmed that the Kogi State-born star had been successfully reached.
“Ilebaye is fine and in safe hands now. Thank you to everyone who reached out and helped,” the update read.
In a follow-up post, Beauty said, “It’s not my story to tell but thanks everyone. Ilebaye is fine and she’ll tell her story in her time. Thanks everyone.”
While the exact details of the altercation remain unconfirmed by official sources, unverified reports circulating online suggest a domestic dispute occurred at her family home. Speculation has pointed toward a confrontation involving her father Emmanuel Odiniya, though no formal statement has been released by the family or the police regarding the identity of the aggressor.
The incident comes as a shock to many, as Ilebaye had recently been in the news for positive milestones, including the launch of her “Baye Empire” hotel project.
