Big Brother Naija reality star Maria Chike has made her fellow reality star Mercy Eke her baby’s godmother.
Maria revealed this in a post via X on Tuesday, where she joked about denouncing Mercy as her baby’s godmother.
She wrote: “Bribery and corruption is not good. Someone tell Mercy Eke to stop bringing me money and gifts! We don’t want! AmaraNna has denounced her as Godmother.”
Reacting to the post, Mercy wrote: “Good morning Amaranna, them no born you well to denounce my duties as your godmother, your mother was all mine before you came, just kpachara anyi gi der. I love your mum but I love you more, see you soon.”

Maria revealed the child’s name to be Leonardo, adding that he was born on October 1, 2023.
The 31-year-old announced her pregnancy through an Instagram post on Friday, June 23.
She was a housemate during the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ season of BBNaija in 2021.
